Legal terms for using the WizChains platform and services

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using any part of the WizChains network—including purchasing, deploying, or operating a WizNode, participating in AppChains, or using qBits/WIZ tokens—you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not accept all of these terms, you may not access or use the platform.

2. Eligibility

You must be:

  • At least 18 years old
  • Fully able and competent to enter into and comply with these terms
  • Legally permitted to engage with blockchain and cryptocurrency systems in your jurisdiction

Use of the platform where prohibited by law is strictly disallowed.

3. Node Operation

Node operators are responsible for:

  • Maintaining consistent uptime and network availability
  • Ensuring hardware/software compatibility (e.g., disabling sleep mode)
  • Operating only from legitimate, owned, or authorized devices

WizChains will not be held liable for any lost earnings due to misconfigured nodes, power interruptions, or device issues.

4. Token Use and Rewards

  • qBits are utility tokens earned via compute contribution and used within the network.
  • WIZ tokens are used for governance, node purchases, and ecosystem incentives.

Token values are market-driven and fluctuate. WizChains provides no guarantees of return, price stability, or redemption rights.

5. Taxes and Legal Compliance

Participants are solely responsible for complying with all tax laws applicable in their country of residence. This includes reporting and payment of income, capital gains, and any crypto-related earnings.

WizChains does not provide legal, tax, or investment advice.

6. No Investment Advice

Participation in WizChains does not constitute investment in a security or any form of collective investment scheme. No content within the whitepaper, platform, or marketing material should be interpreted as financial advice.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, WizChains and its contributors, team members, or affiliates shall not be liable for:

  • Loss of tokens or assets
  • Misconfigured node software or network outages
  • Bugs, code flaws, or security breaches
  • Regulatory changes affecting operations

Users assume full responsibility for risks related to blockchain-based systems.

8. Platform Modifications

WizChains may revise platform features, token mechanics, or governance structures at any time. Updates to these terms will be posted, and continued use of the platform indicates agreement with the new terms.

9. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to our platform or services without notice, especially in cases of:

  • Attempted fraud or network manipulation
  • Illegal use
  • Violation of these terms

10. Governing Law and Disputes

All disputes shall be governed by the laws of the jurisdiction of WizChains' registration (to be updated upon entity formation). Disputes will be settled via arbitration unless both parties agree otherwise.

11. Intellectual Property

All platform content, logos, software, and documentation are the intellectual property of WizChains unless otherwise stated. Unauthorized use or reproduction is strictly prohibited.
